Durian
The Durian is thought for being one of Southeast Asia's most ancient and primitive trees. The Durians lifespan is 80 to 150 years, but it can live longer. By the picture on the left you can tell that the Durian is a very tall tree, well it is it grows to the height of 90 to 130 feet long. It doesn't grow any fruit but it can form buttresses.
Jambu
Jambu is grown in Indonesia it's a crunchy mildly sweet, watery fruit.It grows on a bush or a small tree to 10-20 feet.
Kapok Tree
The Kapok Tree can grow to 150 feet or more it is a very tall tree it looks down on to the smaller trees. It was originally from South America but it spread to the primary rainforests in West Africa and Southeast Asia.
Bengal Bamboo
The Begal Bamboo is known to be grown in the Southeast Asia rainforests it starts as patches or scattered. It likes being in 40 degrees fahrenheit or 100 degrees fahrenheit. It can also grow to 9 inches a day.
Strangler Figs
Figs are very important plant species of the rainforest ecosystem. There's about 1,000 different species of ficus witch is found in every major rainforest.
